I was just wondering, is it possible to configure Nokia's Internet Tablets so that they can receive radio signals without having to be connected to the Internet? I have an N800.

Thank you!

You can get FM radio any time if you download the fm radio applet.

to further elaborate...

Here's how to do activate the FM radio:

1. Click on the Applications icon (the green squares on the left)
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Application Manager
4. Click on Browse Downloadable Applications
5. Click on "All", if necessary
6. Click on "fmradio"
7. Click on Install

Thats word for word from tabletschool

And plug in your earphones for better signal - they serve as the FM antenna.

You can choose in the fm radio applet whether to output sound through earphones or speakers, IIRC.

For any signal at all, in fact.

N810 owners should be aware that only the N800 of Nokia's internet tablets has a built-in FM receiver. FYI.
