Just heard that Quickoffice has partnered with Nokia to bundle Quickoffice with future Nokia - Symbian Series 60 phones. Quickoffice is a suite of apps that can access MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files.

I hope QuickOffice makes it to the Maemo platform.

They have already been shipping this with the Nokia 6682, but it was a trial version only. Customers still had to purchase the full version. Good to see this though.

Nice, if they bring this to the 770, that takes care of official support for an office viewer. Although the 3rd party offerings for this look good if they don't.

Apart from the simple fact that Documents To Go is a lot better than QuickOffice, neither company even has a Linux version on the horizon.

Besides, Abiword an Gnumeric are lightyears ahead of both aforementioned.
