Copied my post from AAS:

Used this yesterday with my beloved N9. Here's what I found: contacts, gallery, messages all synced beautifully and rather quickly. The big YES moment came when (now at long long last!) I was able to manage my Maps using Suite. Before, Maps was a on-the-phone only affair. Now I could see that (rather strangely!) my N9 has EVERY SINGLE language installed + New York. Ha! So I deleted all of it, which took a while, and then added back English and New York. Piece of cake. And I think the only thing I couldn't do was import Groups from contacts or MMS from messages. No biggie. Conclusion: very happy that I can now finally use Nokia Suite with my N9 to do all the things I used to do with my many other Nokia devices. Even create a back-up, which is handy. Highly recommended!

Tried to set the gallery sync folder to a network drive. Not supported.
Nokia Link supports it.

Has anyone else experienced problems with 2 and 3 above?

Edit: No luck with Outlook contacts, calendar or notes either
I can sync SMS but I can't send any from Nokia Suite. For now I tried connecting only via the USB cable. Did you try bluetooth? This may get resolved. NS is still in its beta.

What really makes this thing useful is actually working contact sync with Mozilla Thunderbird 13. This works flawlessly both ways. Even most contact details fields are alike. FINALLY!

Very odd...

edit: Actually it's not odd. It is in line with the Nokia road
Tis probably just a point release....
They've communicated several times that PC Suite is deprecated in favor of Nokia Suite longer-term.
Can't be foobared digging that up, do some Googling and you'll find it.

Are you really trying to argue that Nokia Link is a better option than this?

You shitting me? That's awesome! If only I used TB in Win 7...
I wonder if I can trick Nokia Suite into working with my TB installation in OSX via Fusion or Parallels!?

Suite works just fine with my N9.

Was surprised to see N9 support is added to Nokia Suite again, thanks to the Finns.

The most I like is that I can manage (and download) maps over Suite now, to make it over phone was a pain.

Maybe we get some improvements in future versions, maybe with PR 1.3.........?

I am not arguing with anybody.

Link + PC Suite + NSU is a better option for me. I use a NAS as main storage and access it via WiFi. Also true, I am using a 2core 2GHz laptop and ditched the desktop a long time ago.
So, yeah: not being able to sync media with the NAS is a deal breaker for me.
