I set up a Hotmail email account on my N900 while I was connected to internet via WIFI - it successfully downloaded headers for all my emails (almost 2000). The next day while connected via GPRS my inbox only showed 20 emails - which is about a months worth.

What happened and how can I obtain the rest of my inbox again?

Is this POP or IMAP? Is this a direct account or do you use Nokia Messaging Service for it? Which Maemo5 version do you use?

AFAIK hotmail is per definition POP3. It is a "direct" account.

Maemo 5 version: 3.20010.02-8
