Will the love between man and machine create cyborgs ?

Possibly, but what would be the point?
There are plenty of cheaper tablets that already come with windoze.

Partner space reminds me the future of toolbars that some software tries to install.
They keep experimenting on people changing everything.
I don't get why they just don't think thru from the beginning and just adding features that might look cool at first, but not UX smart(even they kill them). Seems like OCD child trying to start 1000 things at the same time ending up with nothing finished. The start point killer features were TOH, pull menu and multitasking. Mostly nothing from this is emphasized. No toh by jolla for phone, no at all for tablet? Haven't seen a lot of usage of pully menu in videos of tablet?! Multitasking with optimization that kill processes is not real thing.
Anyway, my point is that they tried to be different soooo much that they did not think things thru, now as they slowly do they start to look more like other OSs, and it's logical as others already passed that evolution, and Jolla should learn from them and not reinvent things just to have "unlike" slogan, but ending redoing everything and at the end looking like other OS

I was going through the whole list of packages installed on my Jolla phone, and I noticed that one of them is partnerspace-launcher-0.0.5-10.4.2.jolla.armv7hl.
According to my update records Uitukka update installed v0.0.2 and Vaarainjärvi had v0.0.4.
So... probably the partner space idea is not a new concept of the tablet and SFOS 2.0, but a capability that is already in our phones, just not fully deployed yet.

It was demonstrated at MWC 2014 and explained even before.

Of course it's not new - they have been advertising it for at least a year (and showcasing it with Angry Birds on MWC 2014) and it is a part of their Android launcher (Stella).

You can even customize it since November (thanks to Sfiet_Konstantin).

It is just more integrated on the tablet.

On a related note, I was quite sceptical about such partner space integration in Sailfish 2.0, but I think it is a great opportunity - it should be quite easy to make a widget area as a partner space component (I don't mean created by Jolla, but by the community) and enjoy N900-like widgets just one flick away on the homescreen.

Partner space is exited by swiping from the edge which would allow for multiple widget screens inside the partner space.

It would be nice to create a pluggable system that 3rd party apps could take advantage of.

As we get closer to launch, I am getting very anxious for my Jolla Tablet.

Like many have said, I really don't need a fourth tablet, but I fully support Jolla and Sailfish.
