What is this?

QtRapids is a bit-torrent program for N900 using Qt. It should be relatively fast (no slowdowns during downloads). Please notice that I just recompiled this and edited the deb's dependencies a bit. I have NOT written this application and I take no responsibility for this application or what it might do to your device.

How to install?

Just download the program from extras-devel.

At least it should be. At least on my N900 it was much faster than Transmission.

Any chance of having this packaged as 1 application and submitted to Extras-devel?

THAT would be great!

I really don't know how to get this to Extras-Devel since this program is still there (but the program package itself is removed because of missing dependencies). If anybody could help me in this I would upload it to Devel right away.

What else do you need... more steps?

Does this app handle private trackers ? Also this app seems to rely on a package called libboost-filesystem. Exactly what is that?

Most private trackers have a allowed list of clients, and usually it consists of azureus, transmission, rtorrent, µtorrent and deluge with various versions. So no go for QtRapids, however I'd check with the private tracker in particular if it's allowed.

EDIT: Oh and some might not even enforce any limitations.
