I hope that we're going to receive results on time Which mean today.

// Edit

The voting period for the specified election has closed, but the results of the election have not yet been calculated. It is not possible to see the results now.

So we just have to wait now... I hope that no pushing of any red button is required to publish results

The ballots are available, anyone can download them and run them through OpenSTV to find out the result :-)

Congrats to the new council!

(and shame on the "community" for producing such a low turnout)

The tag "incommunicado" says it all really so let's hope the "new" council starts to listen to the members of the very forum they are council of !.

PS congrats Woody you well deserve to be on the council, lets just hope you can drum some sense into this place

Sure there's some "red button pushing" required - even a bit of manual work:
http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_Coun...ng_an_election
http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo.org_team...ection_results

Somebody has to do that, it won't happen automagically ;-)

If somebody of the parting council could bother to ask for help, I guess it might happen... Otherwise odds are we see next stall.

Unoffically, this is be the results running OpenSTV on the ballotfile.

Hi,

The results for the Council elections have been calculated with OpenSTV, using Fractional transfer STV.

Complete breakdown of the voting can be found here:
http://maemo.org/vote/results.php?election_id=20

Summary:
Winners are Ivan Galvez Junquera (ivgalvez), Piotr Jawidzyk (Estel), Craig Woodward (woody14619), Niel Nielsen (NeilDK), and R Bauer (SD69).

Congratulations to the new council members!

Hi to you all, and thanks to Niels for officially do the counting and announcing.

Personally, I am honored and wants to thank, not just the ones who voted me on, but also all of you who took the time to give a vote.

It is important with the support and input from the members of this community, to make it work, and create opportunities for all the decelopers. Being one we can make things happen.

Also, thanks to those who volunteered to stand up for the council election, but didnt 'win' a seat. Knowing their involvement I am sure that this doesnt keep them away, for the benefit of us all.

Thanks, looking forward to be a bigger part in evolving this community.
