would not surprise me, as all previous tablets have shared parts with nokia phones.

and that makes sense, as the more common the parts, the more they can save on production costs.

Well i wouldn't underestimate nokia that far.. They know how important this product would be for them in the current market, not to mention it's the grand public debut of this new os of theirs.

I mean, sure that's part of their cost controlling plan, but it's more likely tht they do this to 'follow what works in the market' to try to sell more.

They look superficially similar but the key shapes are quite different, and the layout is not quite that bad (at least there's a Ctrl key). Somewhat annoyingly the fn (blue) characters are all different (and also different to the N810 - consistency? what's that?), but I can't imagine many people would want to own both devices.

Man it was hard keeping all the details of this to myself for so long. For others too I'll bet.

I was never in games... I started in local QA for device assembly/distribution and then moved to global logistics.

But what do you mean by "missing"? From info so far? I'll neither confirm nor deny.

Ok, well, not everyone's, obviously. While I was impressed with the overall specs as you know, I'm still not thrilled with the screen size. It would be easier to swallow if there was also a slightly larger slate-style device hot on this one's heels...

We could give him links to the actual pictures and text of some useful and accurate specs so he could edit his first post...
