Just saw this yesterday :-)

I tried JEdit as a "benchmark", and it loads and runs much faster than alternative VMs.

Interesting. On which platform did you run OpenJDK + JEdit though?

Ah thanks! Now I'm going to have to figure out how to get Debian running Hopefully the Deblet will work okay.
