I've never messed around with playlists before though and was wondering what the command line would be for something like this.
I'm not sure if youtube-dl supports playlists. If it doesn't, I can add some new methods to the script and post it here.

That just seems to be a TV/media centre web-interface for the normal website.

Yeah, it does.

youtube-dl --help

The trick is playing them all with mplayer which I don't understand.

I'll have a look at how youtube-dl handles playlists.

What are the video playback capabilities of the N810? I have one, and would like to port cuteTube to Diablo at some point. Can the N810 play any of the YouTube formats without conversion?

It can only play -f 5.

I also made a copy of this script to download and play -f 18, but I only play these back using Xmms or Nqaap, which is a really nice audiobook reader.

Hey marxian.

Were you still planning to port your app for us Diablo users?

m.youtube.com has been buggy ever since September.

Now, if you click on Recommended, Popular, or Browse, it just takes you to this page that shows nothing.

I'm having problems again but this time it's not making much sense to me.

When I start the script, I get the following error.

Copy a youtube URL to clipboard or specify one on the command line

I've done a reboot, same error, then even updated youtube-dl-x from here to see if that would work.

This all just started within the last hour.

Any ideas?

Sorry.

I guess it's back to working again.

Before I tried over 20 different times with always the same error though.

Weird.

This post is for Fillip....

Hey.

I no longer use MyTube since it's easier and faster just to go to m.youtube.com and zoom in 100%.

Anyway, you probably need this patch.

Also attached is an updated youtube-dl-x file and an excellent download script.

Simply copy the url of a video and run the command yt.

You might want to take a peek at this thread as well.
