Hey all,
As a few people may know (and most won't), I'm involved in some research work with N900s at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, Canada. My supervisor has suggested holding a Maemo meet-up for the Greater Vancouver area, probably at the campus itself. I've also heard interest from a few locals. Nothing is decided yet, but my question is...

...Who would come, if we set something up?
I'm not asking for formal RSVPs, but I'd like to gauge interest.

Cheers,

Providing there is no scheduling conflict, I'd love to be there.

Just FYI, according to a friend who talked to WIND, coverage for SFU is targetted for July (hopefully); apparently there were some regulatory hold-ups.

Only when I go to select network manually, it doesn't show up in the network list otherwise.

EIPI: I meant in Vancouver, of course. Of course you've been able to see it for a while.

Slocan: I have tried that trick, both at UBC (where their home zone is only partially covering the campus) and at my house (right in the middle of the Vancouver home zone). All I ever see is the Fido network, nothing else.

Is there some special trick that I'm missing? I'm doing it like in EIPI's blog...
