yeah i know that..
equalizer in someplayer...lots of stutters ... highly unstable,
sharpness in anselA .. really a nonsense approach,
mplayer...high a-v delay...no use,
youtube video played in only 240p...pity on nokia,
and yeah one more thing..when you set a mp3 as ur ringtone...its quality falls to a large extent...,
and yeah led support in video mode...using live focus is a cumbersome procedure...
and what's the use of mirror application when u cant see urself in it...lol

One thing I'd love to have fixed is the shaky support for various bluetooth headsets/carkits. It's been bothering me since from the beginning. None of the Nokia PR's would make any kind of improvement or difference at all.

Is that the kind of functionality that the CSSU team would be able to do anything about, or is this closed Nokia source?

Anyhow, I think that many headsets and car handsfree units has appeared having the same trouble when connected to the N900, in my case, an SE HCB-108 it does connect, but the sound is so terrible that it's useless (it's robotic voice some strange acoustic feedback and dropouts all the time).
I have tested my car kit with other phones without any problems.

This was one of the bug reports that discussed it:

But why don't we use Brainstorm at http://maemo.org/community/brainstorm/ for this? AFAIU, there will be no more updates from Nokia so the CSSU developers are the only ones who can implement new features.

1) repair camera stuttering (video)
2) export backup as a file (now I don't know where it is)
3) only 3 collumns are shown of the notification bar in portrait mode
4) portrait media player
5) battery and performance improvements

Hi there.
I would like a new approach in the geocoding module of the camera application.

Short version: skip the datastuff / namingscheme in the geocode module and tag the photo with gps coordinates!

Long version: On a holiday I go to rural area. I bring my SLR camera to take (real?) pictures and the N900 as a supplement to have a reference photo tagged with a location. I bring out the N900 to document where the pictures have been taken, start the camera, turn on geocoding. Bang: it requires a data connection to geocode the pictures. I don't even get gsm in these areas. Just bring up the gps and put some coordinates into the exif fields. The naming can be fixed back home at the computer anyway.

Thanks for listening to my rants.

I would like to have a better support for google talk. I notice that if one of my google talk contact is online on is pc then I have the option to call her/him, but if she/he is online on her/his phone I can only write IMs. They can call me using Google Talk but I can't because the option does not show in my contact menu.
Maybe there is already a solution for this but I couldn't find it.

Second, more portrait support.

Thank you for the great job done up to now with every CSSU release.
