It has been a while since I last used x11vnc, but now I find that the <enter> key is no longer recognized from the remote computer. I have tried it from two different computers as remotes: both running Ubuntu & both connecting to x11vnc with xtightvncviewer.

The only thing that I can think that could affect this & might have changed in the intervening time is CSSU-Testing.

Can anyone else reproduce this issue?

Thank you for checking.
I am running CSSU-Testing. Are you running a CSSU?

I checked again using tightVNC on a Windows machine, & the result was the same as using xtightvnc on the ubuntu machines: The <enter> key on the Viewer machine does not work when controlling Xterminal or Leafpad on the N900.

I suspect, that it may be related to replacing KP_Enter as with vanilla terminal, with Enter. Try using KP_Enter on viewer machine?

reinob could tell You more about this, probably. It's the thing that he hates in CSSU most (despite fact, that it was broken in vanilla terminal and CSSU fixed it - still, it may cause compatibility issues in rare cases).

I'm running the same CSSU version.

Interesting! I wonder why my phone is behaving this way.

I don't understand that. Is it some alternate key mapping? I don't see anyplace for doing that in tightvnc or xtightvnc.

Keypad_Enter The one on the numpad.

By default, I mean nokia config, enter on N900 keyboard was registered as KP_enter.
CSSU fixed it to "normal" enter

Lol. Actually from the CSSU I'm using libvte (i.e. with patched KP_Enter) as well as modest.

What I "hate" about the CSSU is the focus on portrait mode and the fact that it's an all-or-nothing deal (except if you install packages individually like I've done).
