Code:
apt-get remove osso-pdf-viewer
apt-get clean
Then try again.

Have you got extras-devel enabled? Any unstable libraries? libc6 2.10? libstdc++6 4.6?

You must have made a typo. This:
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall osso-pdf-viewer=*
works alright. Did you type:
Code:
apt-get --reinstall osso-pdf-viewer

Then the error shouldn't occur. Are you sure you typed
Code:
install --reinstall
For me the command
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall osso-pdf-viewer
causes no error.

If you're sure, show me the log.
