Hi!,

After the release of PenPen Sketchbook, I would like to introduce my other N900 program to you The name of software is "FrontView900" , which could turns your mobile phone into a document scanner.

Introduction:

What will you do if you are going to have a digital copy of a handwriting/drawing without a scanner nearby?

You will pick up your N900 and take pictures of it, but your image is skewed.

FrontView900 will solve your problem by convert image of paper / hand written notes into a flatted document image by de-skewing automatically. Now, your Nokia N900 is not only a mobile phone, but also a document scanner.

Name : FrontView900
Description: Turns your mobile phone into a document scanner

Features:
- Image de-skewing - Convert perspective view image of hand written drawing / notes to front view
- Paper auto-detection
- Manual/ semi-automated detection mode for complex image
-- e.g Use stylus to draw out the input region, the region will be corrected by FrontView900 automatically.
- Misc features: image crop , rotation , ...

This is awesome, the ability to recognize multiple papers is just like desktop scanner software. Good job and thanks!

problem: the app scans only internal partitions camera folder.

e: that seems to be only blocker for me

optical character recognition would be an awesome feature. obviously it may be a stupid idea but yeah... just for thought!

or then just simply run an image through this first and you'll probably have better results with OCR...
