My N9 won't stop displaying the new voice mail notification even after I have deleted all of the voice-mails in my voice-mail box. Does anyone have a solution? I have rebooted the phone several times as well as removing my SIM card with no success.

have someone call in and leave a message, then delete the message and it should reset itself

I have this problem as well on my N9. And have tried the solution (receive a new voicemail and deleting that one) a few times, but the original voicemail notification is still there. In fact I have now 2 notifications after all the trying...

Is there any other solution, e.g. getting rid of some cache memory, or manually resetting the voicemail notification?

I had a similar issue with a different phone in the past. I called my carrier, and they were able to fix it on their end. The icon disappeared within moments of the phone call.
