I was considering getting the XZ2 compact couple of months ago when I found out about Rinigus port. Kudos to him! The problem is that I need 1 (one) android app which I cant use in that case for lack of android support.

So for now for the summer X compact will do with the same app somewhat crippled but usable. For the rest of the year I have XA2 and X in the drawer for backup.

It will be really hard to convince myself to buy next gen phone that I cant use with one hand.

... which is not obvious to an everyday user like me, as Sony itself had the X updated to android 8. And android 8 is the version of the android support which comes for the XA2.

In fact, if I want to reflash my X, I can only find android 8 versions on official channels. For the XA2 there are only android 9 versions left to reflash.

I hope that Jolla will put Sailfish on it. The Android on Xperia X works worse by the day it feels like.

Well, it’s an obsolete budget device from 2015.. At least it works decent with android Oreo compared to sfosX.

I thought it came out in 2016. Has better display than XA2, lighter and thinner...
