It might be of interest to know just how much traffic maemo.org gets.

I saw where A. Lam posted (in a blog) some statistics about
maemo applications,

but there are other things going on here.

IMBM, but there appears to be more activity now lately,
I wonder if we have a couple of hundred journalists
posing as n900 users to tap or spin the n9 rumor mill
or if there really is a larger participation going on.

Code:
Currently Active Users: 1245 (235 members and 1010 guests)
Most users ever online was 2,726, 05-26-10 at 21:31.
The largest online presence came with the release of PR 1.2
but over the past few weeks there appears to be more people here,
not less as might be expected of an OS
just riddled with bullets by its creator and tossed of a high cliff
overlooking an abandoned sewage treatment facility.

Are there any generic (daly) historical graphs of the application downloads
and TMO activity we could see?

Just curious

For the first, in order to see the graphs for the daily downloads of any application in extras, you could go to downloads, select an application and click the link "Download statistics".

If you using Firefox, there is a plug-in called Alexa that will show you a little graph for every page you visiting. Also you can check more details on-line.

Here is for maemo.org

From my analysis the best period for maemo.org passed by and will never come back.
