I'll just add that T-Mobile recently unveiled a new prepaid plan on 10/16 (for us in the US)

$30 monthly gets 100 minutes, unlimited text, 5GB 4G, 2G access thereafter. From my understanding, prepaid doesn't get roaming, but the coverage is nearly identical (96%?).

Possibly new customer only at this point. If I could port my number, I'd probably try it. I don't talk much, nor use much data (mostly wifi coverage). The extra data would be more useful than extra minutes to me.

Sounds like a decent deal IF you find a cheap phone off contract, and you don't use many minutes. Of course if the AT&T deal goes through, I wouldn't expect this to last.

I'm set on the Nexus Prime and on the Galaxy Tab (maaaybe 7+, but very likely the 7.7... whichever will work with a car mount... I've gotten to really LOVE the larger screen for GPS in my car and, oddly, the 7-inch size tablet LOOKS PERFECT on my dashboard).

It's a good mix of Honeycomb (scrolling apps) and WebOS (swipe out to close)... You have to be in the apps in Harmattan to swipe close them, no?

Damn camera on it is crazy fast. No lag.

It's what you get if you don't reset your development every year.

This ICS beeznees was totally underwhelming for me. ZERO GPU ACCELERATION ON THE UI AT THIS STAGE. WTF google!!!! The interface lacks simplicity and elegance too. They are so horrid at making great UI. Meh.

The phone is gorgeous tho, if only one can slap meego/harmattan on it. Android is such a waste on superpowered phones *sigh* One has to now rely on custom roms....again.
