I've had enough of all the image set files cluttering up the .images folder. My plan was to move them to a sub folder within .images. So I've moved the images and .desktop files to my new folder. I then changed the file paths in the .desktop files to point the OS in the right direction. Unfortunately the image sets can't be found when I try to change backgrounds. Have I missed anything?

Silly answer but have you tried ((while inside the "Choose background image") to press the button called "More" and navigate to your new folder? For me it works fine.

Yeah that works for me. Unfortunately by using the 'more' option the n900 never remembers the path used for your chosen image set, resulting in you having to choose 'more' every time you want to change your background.

Try keeping the .desktop files in the .images directory, and just change the paths referenced in the .desktop files.
