Hi,

Situation: I order my movie tickets on my mobile. They send me and sms with the code. I get the sms notification. Click on it, sms is empty and the senders name is moviecompany[]. In the notification I can see the sms.

After going back, the sms disappears from my sms-s. And then the most irritating thing happens. I keep getting the same sms notification with the same exact sms content over and over again.

I've tried the tracker-control -r but no help.


Hopefully this messy description will give any overview of my problem.

It seems to be a known bug in all firwmare versions. Some weird SMS behave like that and I'm unaware of a workaround.

To stop receiving the same message after reboots try importing messages from the SIM card (Settings/Applications/Messages/Import from SIM card). For me it means I receive ~10 messages in the first 5-10 minutes and never get them again.
