They both seem to point to the same information... from what I can tell.. Maybe just a search engine quirk or the prototype and then the consumer filings... dunno.

Click here for the LJPRX-51 link. Once there it seems to go to the exact same application/pics.

The "X" is for the X-ray emitter they put in place of the infrared. They were going to make it out of kryptonite but realized that was something Apple probably had already "done first".

may be we should have a poll on whether people have the RX-51 or RX-51X version.

If I remember correctly, a few people with new replacement n900 don't find their phones as easy to overclock etc...

we'd need an easy, reproducible way to check if a n900 is from the 51 or 51X batch...

Well it should be on the FCC sticker.

FCC sticker: what you see when you remove the battery, I suppose

HealthCheck displays a board version, processor information

do these values differ from n900 to n900?

The N900 had the written on it in earlier prototypes, but they removed it at some point before it hit retail.

we might as well set up a poll...

e.g.

I own a:

Nokia RX-51 bought in Europe
Nokia RX-51 bought in "(different markets e.g. North America)
Nokia RX-51X bought in "(different markets)"

but that's only if we want to get real technical about it :P
