First of all, thanks again Orava for this great application. I just supported the development by purchasing the newest version from Ovi Store and I suggest that everybody else using this great app do the same.
I have a question though about the layers with the new version and with the server_settings.ini file. I was able to add the "Merikartta" layer but I am missing the "property border" (tontinrajat) and the "ancient monument" (muinaismuisto) layers. How to get those working with the new version? What I need to copy and where?

One day I tried to upgrade to the newest Ubuntu OS version but there was problem with some of the libraries and I didn't even actually start the upgrade as I really need the maps. How you tried whether this works in the newest Ubuntu? Any instructions?
I use mappero together with topographs for geocaching. Mapsi would be perfect for geocaching if it could download the geocaches on a area like CacheMe and / or if it could use offline *.gpx files . If you have time you could develop a geocaching add-on on top of the Mapsi and sell it in the Ovi Store. At least I would buy it.
Geocaching support is coming soon, most likely in the next version.

Olen nyt menettänyt kokonaan N900 hallinnan. Mapsin 4.0.0 versio ei enää lataa karttoja. Jos hankin tuon N9 puhelimen niin saako siinä maastokartat toimimaan? Ei olisi pitänyt mennä päivittämään toimivaa versiota.

can't remove category
I can add landmark in listing category by hands
but there are no export and I can not undestand what wrong with my files, that can import google maps and other online services
help me please

En ole koskaan vielä Mapsia käyttänyt enkä koko threadia jaksanut lukea mut, onko se nyt niin että järvien syvyyskarttoja ei tässä ole?
Eli ilmeisesti kartat haetaan tuolta karttatiili.fi palvelusta. Retkikartta.fi näyttää myös syvyyskartat, meneekö se liian vaikeaksi jos pitäisi useasta eri lähteestä hakea kuvia.
edit. Vähän off-topic vielä, onko kukaan kerennyt testaamaan tätä http://www.karttaselain.fi/blog/?p=1097 ?

Päivitin taas sen 4.3.0 versioon (110kt). Päivitys esti taas n900 muistin näkymisen massamuistitilassa - akku pois ja odottelua. kokeilin kuitenkin -osm kartat näkyvissä ja päävalikko tyhjä. Kokeilen vielä noita uusia settings tiedostoja kunhan puhelin toipuu.
Kokeiltu uudelleen - osm kartat toimii - ensimmäinen valikko tyhjä lokerot on ja se rullaa, mutta ei mitään tekstiä.
Tarkennus: siis valikko jossa on/off line, GPS, asetukset,yms on OK. Kun painaa mutterin kuvaa tulee tyhjä valikko.
Kokeilin vielä poistaa vanhan settings.ini tiedoston. Se auttoi siihen, että nyt näkyy Suomen topokartat, jotka kuitenkin muuttuvat ilmakuviksi tarkemmilla zoomauksilla. Kartta valikko on edelleen tyhjä. GPS toimii - kun vaan jaksaa odottaa että N900 gps löytää sateliitit.

onko kellään muokkattuja ini filejä uusille osoitteille, v4.1.3, uudessa 4.3.0 versiossa tilarajat ei ole vielä kohdillaan, 4.1.3 versiolle on kartat mutta pitäisi saada tilarajapäivitykset ladattua.
