I have a simple lockscreen app which doesn't load or update any heavy widgets but when I press power button screen doesn't respond for 2 seconds. Any news about this well known problem?
The Second problem is ugly glitch when I moving widget.

Thanks n900user259 for pointing.
It looks like that editing /usr/share/policy/etc/rx51/syspart.conf fix lag issue.

I don't think you can fix that, I have the same issue and I didn't found a solution.

But with systemui-tklock everything is right so it's possible.

This is a known problem. Sakya stated as much on his Qtlockscreen thread and wiki.

Every Qt application "locks" when the power button is pressed.

Have you got "Forced Rotation" enabled in cssu features? I have had that split screen effect with previous lock screens.

Try disabling forced rotation off to see if this improves it your lag, and then maybe adding qt lockscreen to the black list?

Just a thought?

Edit: Did not see n900user259s post at time of writing, did not know this was listed on the wiki tbh

I have another problem. I want display current song title. Via dbus-monitor --session I can see:
Code:
string "title"
uint32 1
variant string "title..."
but in my app there is empty string in 3rd argument;
I'm tried also with com.nokia.mafw.renderer.get_current_metadata but I have no idea how to convert dbus array to string. I will be glad for any help.

Sorry for my English

<Edit>
If anyone is interested I found solution http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/docs/...usvariant.html

In Terminal as Root:

killall hildon-home
(Wait for icons to re-appear)
killall hildon-desktop
killall hildon-status-menu
killall systemui

solves that for me, also free's ram

Also affected my qtlockscreen
