there is a way to get more icons, dl catorise, you will be able to have multible icons

I am on my N900 now and can't be bothered now. Will vote when I am laptop. Just want to say I was shocked to find that you couldn't do this by default. Before I got the device I took it as a given that I would have a phone shortcut on each of my four desktops.

I know there are many threads about this but I feel this is essential to the UI ... I would like a call icon and a conversations icon on every desktop in the same place so whenever i wanted to make a call I never have to change desktops.
I am not confident enough to do what others have suggested and implement the workaround for fear of messing up my N900.
This enhancement currently has 25 votes with a LOW priority .... the more votes it gets the better chance there is of it being implemented.
It would be great if ability to add multiple shortcuts was implemented in the next firmware update.
