I am having cell connectivity issues (see post link) with the Singapore Singtel variant PR1.3 running in the US.
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...5&postcount=92

more detail, if i toggle flight mode after the "lockup," the signal bars clear and it shows not connected to the network and never connects again until i restart. The worst part of the bug is the at a glance the phone works, but not until you try to make a call or use data do you find out.

What country firmware are other people running in the states? and not having any issues with connectivity.

I have a problem. Flasher says Downgrade disallowed.
Is there a way around that?

I think there's simply a bug in the radio interface layers. I sometimes have system-ui show that I don't have coverage, but this is cleared up by entering and exiting flight mode.

By the way, if you are on a carrier-variant version of PR1.3, you cannot use a generic variant of PR1.3 (save for a creative replacement of the rootfs, skipping Flasher entirely) (this will not replace your radio firmware)

Australian variant in U.S.
I have this issue too, occasionally. Mine will *say* I still have coverage but just won't get any data. So I enter and exit flight mode and it works again. Glad to get confirmation it's not just my imagination..

EDIT: I use T-mobile.

Running PR1.3 (40.2012.21-3_PR_001). I just moved to the US. I had the same issue as lancewex last week, where the phone said it had connectivity, but I had no data till I rebooted the phone.

I assumed it was a network issue (using Straighttalk with AT&T sim in the Bay Area) at the time.
