I cannot see there the things you're saying. like the night video mode and turning off the mic while on video call. where did u find those?

YES. I know that if you use lower fps you can make pictures brighter. Actually i thought that Night mode means that flash stays on :|

They can be combined, but the built in flash on the N900 is not very strong, and so far objects will bot benefit from the flash remaining on,
Hence the FPS trick.

I believe it is referring to the ability to add extensions to MAFW (such as the Subtitles Support/Equaliser) without having to replace the entire Mafw-Gst-Renderer itself (as it stands, you can only have Subtitles Support OR Equaliser because they both replace the Mafw-Gst-Renderer).
