Hi,

inspired by MacSlow’s Cairo-Clock, I made desktop clock widget
for his cairo-clock themes.
I know there is already a python cairo clock and there may
be a QT Desktop Widget at some time.
But I don't like Python Widgets and don't know how long it
takes till the QT widget is ready.
I had omitted the fancy looking animation for the clock hands.
To much afford and that needs to much device resources.
Features:
You can put more than one clock on your desktop,
resize the clock,
change the timezone,
change display options (show seconds, 24 hour format)
and of course, change the theme.
I don't know, if I have the permission to distribute
MacSlows original clock themes. So I made one theme
which comes with this app, but you can use any other
cairo-clock theme.

regards
Nicolai

Download theme file (for example, look at gnome-look.org)
unpack the archive and put the folder with the theme files
on your device. (For example, I downloaded
clock-transparent from gnome-look and put this folder
on my device in /home/user/MyDocs/). Than
- open the settings dialog
- uncheck button "built-in theme"
- push "custom theme" button
- select the folder where your theme files are
(in my example: select the folder clock-transparent)

regards
Nicolai

You have to unpack the archive file.
Open xterm, go to the directory with your theme file.
For example if the file name is 123370-clock-transparant.tar.gz:
Code:
cd /home/user/MyDocs
unpack the archive:
Code:
tar -xzf 123370-clock-transparant.tar.gz
Feel free to post screenshots, if you found some nice
looking themes.

regards
Nicolai

Some themes works, some dont. Hopefully this can be fixed.
Great app, great work. I have missed a clock-widget, with lots of themes...
