Try:
apt-get remove gnumeric
apt-get install gnumeric

The problem is with the N900 keyboard in Spanish.
If I use an external keyboard with "-layout us -variant intl", it works.
Any help to fix it?
Interesting, i'll look at this.

Version 1.10.10-1 is in extras-devel.
Changes:
* Updated to 1.10.10
* Removed depracted "Enter Moves Selection" option from UI. Thanks WhiteWolf .
* Fixed 'insert image' and 'save as image' dialogs

As always the latest libgoffice-0-8 and libgoffice-0-8-common are required.

A pleasure to help.

I still can not move the active cell, or up or down with the arrow keys.

I assume this refers to the hildonisation? It's easier on the eyes and fingers but can they be made "nested". Right now if I click say "File" then click outside the menu I return to the main screen, what I would like is for it to back a level (so in this case it would show the top-level menu - File, Edit, View etc).

Thanks for this One small glitch, after enabling CTRL+L I had to restart the app before it would take effect - is this a bug or a limitation the system?

I'm not sure if it would be a proper behaviour. Sometimes you would have to tap outside the menu 3, 4 or more times.

It's Gnumeric limitation

Thanks for the new release! I like the big menu entries of the main menu. Only drawback with this menu is that I am missing my recently opened files list. I have some files I open frequently and now I have to navigate to them every time.

Two more things I have noticed:

I had to update the libgoffice to ...-3 manually using "apt-get upgrade". Probably its due to the fact that gnumeric depends on this library with version ">= 0.8.10", not ">= 0.8.10-3".

At least in my install of gnumeric, the dialog "format cell -> data validation" (second-last tab in format-cell dialog) stopped working, all controls are inactive in this form. If I remember right, this did not work in the previous version as well, but worked in all other versions.

I am using this dialog to add little drop-down menus to my spreadsheets for value selection to "hildonize" them (to make them more finger friendly).

Alltogether, great work! Thanks for all the efforts!
