Is there any further news on this development yet - I am missing the phone book functionality on my N900 like crazy, I have moved "up" ... !! from a N95, - which by the way worked perfectly... had I known it wouldn't work with the built in bluetooth in my car maybe I'd have thought twice about the N900 ....
