Look what I just received

Hi Marius,

Apologies for the delay in answering.

We will continue to maintain Qt-based Symbian and MeeGo devices. Our ‘next billion’ strategy is now focused on Series 40 and Series 30 devices. Qt has a vibrant community of developers, using the developer framework for everything from embedded devices, to desktop and mobile applications. It is our intent to continue to support Qt in the near term, and at the same time is open to opportunites for the technology outside of Nokia.

Best reagards,

Jyrki Rosenberg
Head of MeeGo

I sent am email to Elop regarding future updates for the N9 and got this reply:

"I am pleased to confirm that we will continue to support N9. We will be putting out another SW release and even after that there will be support as needed.

Best regards,
Jyrki Rosenberg
Head of MeeGo"

That's fully compatible with PR 1.3 + security fixes after that, which is what we actually had for the N900.
