I posted this in a thread in the "General" forum, but I thought I'd mention it in the more appropriate "Accessories" forum.

I have a Nokia E70 mobile phone, which has a 3.5mm charging port. I purchased a Ziplinq retractable charging kit for it, which included an A/C adapter and an automobile "car lighter" plug:

When I got my N800, I purchased a Nokia CA-44 3.5mm --> 2mm adapter cable on ebay:

Now I can use the CA-44 and connect it to the ziplinq kit's 3.5mms tip so I can charge both my N800 and my E70 from my powerbook, a wall jack, or even a car...although I recommend replacing the two separate A/C and car chargers with a single unit like the Boxwave VersaCharger (http://www.boxwave.com/products/vers...rpro/index.htm). It's extremely portable! You can also buy additional ziplinq "tips" for other devices, such as a mini-usb, which is nice.

I have a USB charger for regular (old, larger plug) Nokia phones that I bought at the dollar store (yes, for US$1).

With the Nokia adapter you mentioned, or a home made adapter, or a pair of wire cutters, a soldering iron and a 2mm plug, it will power/charge my 770.

I never used my 770 charger; instead I used my 6680's plus a CA-44 converter; so, one less charger when traveling. Add to that the APC Universal Plug Adapter http://www.apc.com/resource/include/...?base_sku=INPA and I'm covered everywhere
