Sounds fun, unless you're in the Southern hemisphere... But who knows how many beautiful sunrise photos are actually sunsets?

It seemed like spring 2 months ago here. Today however, I'd only be able to drive a couple hundred miles before the highway is closed for a blizzard! Nevertheless I'm eager to start shooting as soon as the sun reappears .

No part of the US is in the southern hemisphere AFAIK, so it does not have to worry you

I know. But haven't you seen those "upside down" globes that put Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East, the US, Japan, etc. on the "bottom" for a change of perspective?

(BTW, the southernmost US territory is just under 19 degrees north, somewhere in the Hawaiian chain. I would have thought it was Guam, but I would have been wrong until now when I checked.)

Also BTW, it's far more Spring-like here today than yesterday, so hopefully I get some outdoor time for photography. And that Mosen's Spring weather comes soon, as well.

Pichlo, you seem to come from my part of the world, so maybe you know the joke: "What countries does the USSR border?" "Whatever it wants!". I think, that US can have part in any hemisphere it wants And thanks to the Guano Islands Act all it takes is some bird poo and one US citizen

Ladies and gentlemen, meet my entry for this month. I found these guys scaling the side of my house on the morning of Saturday 6 May. They were a bit above my eye level, I had to reach up to take the shot.

Taken with Nokia N900.

PS
@juiceme, I have heard all your complaints about a "small picture". Please take them up with the TMO uploader who shrinks them to 600px

They seem to be yearning for the sun like me.
Is that stack behaviour a snail social thing?
Looks cosy and in contrast resambles why i fled employment and went freelancing
Perfect entry!

Edit, oh no, you triggered me somehow.

Lovely snailstack! And indeed might be love in the air

And the picture uploader is poor, I grant that.
If you do not have a nice place to host larger pictures, I am happy to help you and can serve them from my domain.

I love the smell of rotten fish in the morning. Surrounding the titan arum are mature Sansevieria for a sense of scale. Taken with a Jolla phone:

A sight, and smell, to behold.
