Hmmm - looks like the type of thing that would enable lcuk to accomplish what he was talking about for liqbase - allowing the 'fluid' from one n900 to be pushed to the next adjacent tablet, and so on. (from summit chats between talk, IIRC).

It might use Nokia's Explore and Share technology that has been previously demonstrated using a modified N900.

I think it's something cool. The way to exchange msgs/files/to have group chats, with no phone or internet use.

Dunno, this does look like a sac of ... stuff that will hardly ever come true

But I'm wondering, what is the technology connecting these devices together? Surely if it happens through the cellular network, mobile operators will want fees for the traffic going back and forth. If its connected to WiFi, then everyone would have to have their WiFi on etc... sounds a bit impossible!
