I just noticed there is a huge update on the public Maemo5 repo on 1st April including all the new packages in PR1.2 (I think they're still uploading)

Theoretically you can update to PR1.2 now by manually installing each individual deb files

For example, get the latest Hildon Desktop version - http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mae...+0m5_armel.deb

This will remove More.. menu and I think can arrange icons too.

I haven't install it yet as currently on Easter break and don't want to screw up device because I can't reflash but definitely worth a try

Not so long until PR1.2 now

I'm trying to work this out by looking at when the PR1.1 files were uploaded and when was it actually released.

Give me 5 mins.

This is LoL...
However, I don't think installing each .deb manually is necessary, perhaps it is possible to add this as a repository?

PR1.1 files uploaded on 21st Dec 2009
PR1.1 released on 14th Jan 2010

There is a 3 and a half weeks 'buffer' for testing I believe.

So I expect PR1.2 to arrive in 3 weeks time (starting from 19th April) using educated guess

files are not installable, app manager says are not compatible. In the directory there's no dsc file, then seems they are uploading files for PR 1.2 update
