Why would anyone want the phone to announce who's calling? I expect more awkward situations than benefits for having a phone say who is calling.

Somehow during the autopackager compilation, the defined variables were cleared from source-code.

I reinstalled a new system, so I realized why you can't use it! )

Try to update to the 0.8-2 version, its uploaded!

Doesnt anybody else have the problem of espeakcaller not being silenced when I silence the call by flipping the phone? This is not a great problem, but it is slowly getting non my nerves. Any help?

Can there be an option to only have it say the name when my headphones are connected?
When they're not connected I just look at the screen but when I'm walking or something like that I answer the phone with the headset button and I don't know who's calling.
Is it possible to implement something like that?

Thanks anyway,
AhBarnasha

espeak caller never worked for me. There is no dependency problem, I can run the app from icon and test does produce sound but caller is never pronounced. I tried started daemon from x-term and the result I got when someone called was like :

Code:
python espeak-caller-daemon.py :: Attempt to remove filter function 0x406b5f08 user data 0x404a6198, but no such filter has been added
Any idea how to solve it?
