what exactly does that mean? It will be launched as "demo" and than it will be released "soon" so that we can buy one or it will be ready for consumers to get one. And on which markets it will be available?

Quick translation... pardon my finglish.

Finnish company Jolla signed an licensing contract for Sailfish OS with Indian company Intex Technologies already at MWC Shanghai 2015.

Intex announced they intend to launch their first Sailfish OS powered mobile phone during the year 2015. However, it didn't happen as the commpany has confirmed to SuomiMobile that they intend to launch the Sailfish phone at MWC Barcelona 2016 next month.

MWC fair is held this year in Februaru 22-25, so the new Sailfish OS phone is not too far away. It's definitely good news for dedicated Jolla fans, who eagerly waited for new mobile phone already in 2013 to replace the first Jolla phone.

Last week we aquired a picture, claimed to show the Intex phone in question, but we have so far been unable to verify it's authenticity. We will report more about Intex's Sailfish project, when we get new information about it.

Intex has confirmed to SuomiMobiili that their Sailfish phone will be launched in MWC 2016 in February. (Later, Intex has also tweeted that.)

About the image (first published in this article): SuomiMobiili is not telling where they got it from; they don't know if it's genuine or fan art; they are not claiming it to be the real thing.

In the same article, they are also talking about specs. But SuomiMobiili doesn't have any info on the specs of the phone to be announced; they are talking about the specs of the 2015 prototype phone (1GB, 8GB etc.), adding that "the specs have probably changed considerably since then."
