How can I install two different N9 apps having exactly same name. One app is from the ovi store while other is from http://projects.developer.nokia.com

Installing one wont let me install the other as it assumes that app is already installed.

Is there a workaround for this ?

Additional info:
------------------

From the N9 ovi store I had Compass app installed and I tried installing another compass app from http://projects.developer.nokia.com/compass

Here is what I tried:

Case 1 (Had Compass app from ovi store installed) :

On trying to install the compass app from http://projects.developer.nokia.com/compass, I got a message "Can't install. The application has already been installed from a certified source"

Case 2 (Had Compass app from http://projects.developer.nokia.com installed):

Now if I try to install ovi store app it just shows "Launch" button. On clicking the launch option it opens the already installed app.

Hope this clarifies.

Ah ok so the nokia projects compass is an example Qt Quick app...

I don't have the apps but most probably both of them have put the same package name hence the issue...

You can therefore only have 1 of them installed at a time...My advice would be to contact the developer of the Store app and ask him to modify his package name slightly to differentiate his app...

Alternatively, since the source for the nokia projects' compass is available from the same site why not download source and pack it with a slightly different package name...

Yep I had that in mind ... was hoping if there was a quick workaround but doesn't look like. Thanks.
