Hiya!
I've seen a few videos from channel called Kimmo Lindholm where there were a gestures which are working with turned off display. I'm curious, if it possible to do a very similar gesture like Blackberry have in their smartphones to unlock phone? Just a swipe from the bottom to unlock (and to go to homescreen at the same time). Tbh this is one of my favorite features from BBOS10
It seems to look like an inverse of an old lock swipe gesture from SFOS1 - just instead of locking, you unlocking by swipe It could be a really cool feature, instead of double tab and swiping.

Yes, it is possible, but I wouldn't recommend it. The panel doesn't support such gestures while sleeping, so you would need to keep the panel and the CPU awake all the time (which drains battery).

If you'd like to open your Jolla (and go to homescreen) by simply double tapping (no swiping), you can achieve this behaviour by modifying the MCE settings using the mce-tool.
