Btw, i video skype all the time with my N900, the other day i was showing my new apartment to a friend (i haven't moved yet, so i'm not there often) and my grandma, she has this lowend desktop running WinXp, called me via Skype, and with just a few taps i was giving her a live tour of my apartment from another state.

That was not due to Maemo's shortcommings, but due to mismanagements by some people inside Nokia.

Modded Ovi Maps? Did i miss something

i have a friend. When the N900 came out, he was wondering what phone he should buy: iphone or N900. I talked him into the N900

But he only uses it to text and to call his mom...
Two years later, when i finally got the money to buy one, i started modding from the first moment and i was inlove with it (and i still am)!

It's just sad so many folks with the N900 don't use it full potential...
It's like buying a sportcar just to go to the grocery shop at the corner of the street
