Hello Guys,every time I turn on my phone it's stuck on backupmenu and if I depress the hold switch to reboot with the keyboard close it reboot but goes still there,what should I do??

I pick reboot from the backup menu and then quickly close the keyboard while it is rebooting.

Another way to do it would be to remove the battery, make sure the keyboard is fully closed, replace the battery, replace the back cover, and reboot using the power button.

Of course your battery needs to be charged sufficiently for either procedure to work.

tried both ways but it doesn't work,it still goes on the backupmenu . .

reflash your kernel (using flasher), keep keyboard closed?


I know a way that COULD work
This could be considered a BAD joke - Flash Meego kernel. Reboot, get stuck in the loop, flash maemo kernel.

Why? Meego kernel writes parts of multiboot/backup/bootmenu out.

is it the only solution??

I don't remember how to do it,and what kernel my phone has :-(

Just try reflash your maemo kernel and make sure the phone is closed when you switch it on.
Google for flash guides.
