UPDATE 1.2 REMOVED THE JAVA AUTO-PATCH


Exential-Suite is a suite that contains some Java software, I made just a deb with some fixes inside (mmjre autoexec patch, arachnophilia cache fix etc)

How does it work?

You need to install mmjre Java Virtual Machine from Here, download and don't forget to say thanks to the author first. Install the deb and make sure to have Rootsh installed on your n900.

Download Exential-Suite-Pack from here (make sure u have rootsh and mmjre installed, install and wait untill n900 will bootup again. Reboot is required to load the Java Patch and to load the Menu icons.

EDIT:
Another run of dpkg configure finally did really reboot the phone not just shut it down... dont really know what was wrong because postinst called for a reboot, but my phone did shut itself down...

During the install of both these deb's my N900 restarts leading to a disturbed package system.
While i was able to correct things for mmjre with 'apt-get install -f' and 'dpkg --configure -a' , exential-suite does not install, may that be by dpkg or hildon package manager.
Is the suite package to huge for 18% free rootfs?
Is my download corrupted, do you have some md5sum to verify for completeness?

When I run all apps in Exential Suite, They have just shown running and disappeared. What's wrong?

prob you have something bad in your n900.. rootfs is not used with exentisl-suite and i can confirm the same about mmjre. They are opt. Yes, the reboot after the installation, it's normal and required for some reasons. By the way, try to run this on xterm

and try again the applications suite.

Mmjre too.. Maybe you have something bad in your rootfs check the faq's to free a lot of space in rootfs
