I would like many sections of the "tablet" to support portrait but not necessarily all and definitely not automatic, unless you can turn that off and still have a quick way to rotate.

I got sick of that BS on my iPod Touch which was near impossible to use in bed because of it.

Automatic screen rotation, like most Nokia features, is usually optional on devices. iPhone's lack of user control is my main reason for disliking it. It could be great if Steve Jobs trusted its users to think for themselves.
