I'm very interested on this too. I miss this feature from N900. It would make media listening everywhere much easier.
So count me in as a buyer, when you are ready to ship this project.

I am aware that this TOH won't happen anytime soon. But still, out of curiosity: What was your idea to achieve that. Neither I2C nor NFC are a good choice for Audio transmitting, are they? Thanks!
