Attached is my patched files, in the tgz is a 'files.txt' telling where they belong.

'make rm581_defconfig' will get you started with the correct values.
For mods and changes, I suggest for the time to do some googling for kernel compiling.

Slow machine, so not sure when compile finishes .....
EDIT: First attempt. Got the BIG scary warning. But after that, stuck on the 'NOKIA' screen.
Late....Tomorrow we go again
Good news is that I got no troubles flashing the 'modified' kernel twice. So the 'security' bit wasnt activated it seems
