if you can get to /home/opt/mypaint/share/mypaint/gui/ and post you brushselectionwindow.py I'll change it to the size you want. But it not hard, just have to follow istructions posted. Or maybe someone else can chime in with a detail tutorial.

need to be root
need to be in xterm
need to bkup file
need to edit line 57
need to save
need to restart app, and see if it work.
need to not blame me if it stops work ..

Can you tell me the steps inorder to make the brush cons bigger I dont get it?

I have seen many request of bigger icon brush size. Tell me a good value and I will change default for next release.

I am using 112x112, but I do have pretty poor close vision so that may be too big for the average user (though personally I think the bigger the better as it's easy to scroll through and the big thumbnails allow you to really get a feel for the brush effect).

Could you perhaps make the size a configurable option within myPaint app menus? That would make it a lot easier for those who don't want to mess with xterm & vi to quickly set a size that suits them. If not, no problems, it's an easy manual change.

quick help ? can anyone tell me how to open a file you saved on mypaint. I have done everything . i get some error massage that paint couldn't open my file. please help spent a lot of time on it .

One suggestion; on exit have it save the last brushed and color used. My $0.02.

how about a shortcut key to toggle through recently used brushes? The same way "X" toggles through recently used colours.
