Then why don't you open up your N900 and soldering a new RAM stick

hehe cheers gen, also ... bootcount is another one to check

I used to keep my device turned on as long as possible, but have soon realised that it needs a proper turn off every 4/5 days minimum.
(Just turn off, wait 30 secs, turn back on)

It just needs to chill every now and again. works fine after that for me

Could be an "I-D-10t" error. Lots of those with the N900, it seems.

Wow, can't imagine anyone needing more RAM I think your real problem might be using apps that are still in testing or dev and take huge amounts of memory because they're not optimised yet.

i tried it with a 2gb micro sd. .

the phone shows zero lag now !!!

its like i upgraded the ram of my pc. . .

plz bak up ur micro sd data before u try this stunt in xterm
