The same happened with my kickback, Glue works wonders, although buying a new backcover is probably better.
And Yeah... three weeks after my kickback magnet broke of and disapeared, now my usb port came loose..

I fixed it the same way you did and haven't had a problem since.
I guess the glue I used was stronger than Nokia's.

hah! had the same problem about a week ago. The one in the flipout, that is.
You can easily fix that one with thin adhesive tape.
