I want to send audio via AD2P to the N900 and the use the headphone jack to go into an amplifier when cable length can be challenging.

I've searched and found other renditions similar to this question but not quite asked like this. So.........can the N900 not transmit AD2P but receive it?

Sorry if my search skills are poor.

EDIT:
I want it to do what this would with a patch cable or would someone say spend the $14 you cheaps SOB....

Hmmm.....I'll have to take this info and monkey with it. I don't want to do this with files but live audio. I'll have to get familiar with VLC streaming etc.. first. Then instead of wifi maybe via PAN or Ad-Hoc connection as I may not have access to infrastructure AP. Ad-Hoc WiFi has more bandwidth so audio quality would probably be better. Thanks for the starting points
