The cheapest way seems, ironically, to buy a faulty whole device. Sure it won't be "new" parts but they would be "genuine". All four N900s that have passed through my hands were very much "like new" cosmetically, after a bit of clean. Even the screens.

I agree with pichlo. If you buy new parts, it's likely they won't be original. Back covers, in particular, often have to be modified by glueing little magnets that are missing where the original cover has them. For example, that white full N900 casing that you can buy in eBay is like that.

Where can I buy new original parts for N900?
It's valuable info for N900 owners
